Yep, That’s me. 

Riding my RZR off a sick jump.  That’s why I care about safety, because I ride.  
A few years back when I first bought Vent Racing Technologies, I learned that 
I really enjoy riding UTV’s. Pretty soon, after a few spills, and close calls, I 
realized that the safety of UTV’s needed some improvement. “I have kids, a family,” 
I thought. “No, I love riding I protested, I’m not ready to give it up.”  That’s when 
I decided that our company would dedicate itself to making UTV’s safer.  I grabbed 
a napkin and started writing, I needed some goals to help direct the company.  The 
following is what i came up with:


• Improve cages.  
• use seamless tubes (.095 wall DOM)
• Increase gusset strength and frequency, using full tubes
• spread forces over more points, integrate bumper, rally bars and other
techniques to distribute forces
• improve welds, using high current, gas fed MIG welders
• Improve passenger retention
• better harnesses (4 point or 5 point)
• better seats to hold and protect passengers
• 100% quality inspection


Since then, we have expanded from our original goals, and addressed many aspects 
of the safety of UTV recreation, but remain dedicated to the idea that people 
should be able to get outside, and enjoy UTV’s in the best and safest way.   Enjoy.
