Sam Hunter - General Manager

Sam Hunter was born and raised in California and had a job working as a shop boy in a mechanics shop where his love for all things mechanical started to grow. After high school he spent 2 years abroad in Romania getting to know the locals. Upon his return he went back to school in Idaho and got his A.S. and moved to Utah to finish school and chase girls (mostly just his future wife). He continued his education by going through the collision repair technology course at UVU and went out into the industry painting, restoring and making vintage scooters go fast. After two years an opportunity opened up to run a junk yard and so he took it. Sadly the junk yard got bought out and he moved on and went back to finish his bachelors. Working his way through college pressure washing, painting, and interning at a local foundry, he finally graduated Magna Cum Laude with a solid 210 credit hours and a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. The foundry picked him up full time and he spent the next 5 years designing and manufacturing castings for the aerospace, nuclear, medical and defense industries. Still there was something missing. His love for machines was not being met so he moved on and became one of the crew at Vent Racing and is now as happy as a small school boy getting out for the summer.
